No one said it’s the “only perspective”. It isn’t . But it seems like

is being forced as a “consensus.” We’ve seen censure of an Arab American rep and outright bullying of university officials for merely “both siding” the conflict, so I don’t know what else you would call it.

Re Biden, he is in a tough spot politically because Arab Americans are an important demographic for him in Michigan and the trend among younger voters — particularly younger voters of color — seems to be trending away from support for Israel.

But it seems like the response has been to viciously shout down anyone who dares take a pro Palestinian or anti-Israeli stand and call them anti semites or try to stir the pot and make political trouble for Biden (or both).

Agree with you that not everyone is marching in unison though and that is absolutely being used — shamelessly and phony-as-hell — by Republicans who see the opportunity for a wedge.
