From someone who isn’t following the details that closely

Bombing a refugee camp (twice) is a very bad look.

Maybe there was a high value target there that makes it “acceptable” in the rules of war to accept civilian casualties that are being used as human shields.

Even if that’s the situation, it’s still a bad look. And I imagine we would tell them to please try and limit that going forward. When the US is the only country going to bat for them, they should work to minimize making that defense harder.

But to your point, the drone capital of the world probably doesn’t have a huge moral high ground to make demands.
