There are some Palestinians advocating for a ONE-state solution in

which the one-state is democratic and secular, with both Jews and Muslims having equal rights under the law, no religious preference, no second-class citizens, and neither Jews nor Muslims facing a) genocide or b) apartheid.

There are some Israelis advocating for this as well.

Of course this is a no-go for BOTH Hamas (who want genocide) and the Likud-led right wing coalition government of Israel (who want apartheid). The tragedy thus is that the ruling parties of both “sides” like, benefit from, and wish to maintain the status quo.
