When I first heard of this idea about 10 years ago, I thought it couldn't

work for US, due to the magnitude of government complexity over government complexity back in Athenian time. But looking at the people we elected now and the process they come out from (with the primary system, gerrymandering etc foster a 2 parties system with more extreme candidates), I have started to think this might not be that bad an idea. By very nature, it should at least get the governing body more moderate and more representative of the population.
