How frequently do you think elected pols really manage the complexity of

Govt machinery? I’m going with - almost never.

Govt will continue to have career civil servants managing the day to day. That’s where the complexity lies. The change would make it less likely that elected narcissistic ideologues would try to replace those experienced career civil servants with their own ideologues.
