I’m a fan of Adam Grant - he wrote “Think Again”, which should be required

Reading for all Soapbox regulars. But the dude doesn’t work for the NYT, so the NYT is not endorsing his idea. At least not in anything that you linked.

Just saying - you make it sound like the NYT endorses this, and that this idea is about keeping some sorts of people out of leadership. Actually, it would give anyone who could pass a basic civics test a chance to lead - much more open then our current methods for picking leaders. Today, pols need to be able to perform, have access to piles of money, etc.
