Absolutely, and the same applies to, say, COVID vaccines...

But we've learned through our COVID experience that the government does apparently have the right to coerce medical decisions, so why should contraception be different? If anything, coercing medical treatment, as was done with COVID vaccine mandates, is more of an infringement than banning an elective treatment, such as contraception.

For the record, my personal view is that contraception should be legal for anyone who wants it.
