I think the dems need their eye on the ball on this issue. First and foremost, pass the Electoral Count Act, ASAP, to head off the exact coup attempt we saw in 2021. That would be a huge positive step.

So much of the rest is bullshit. Time and again, voter turnout has proven not to be impacted by measures attempting to make voting harder. Or easier, for that matter. Perceived voting obstacles in states can be turned against the creators of the obstacles by inciting the passions of the voters they are supposedly targeting. Passion drives voter turnout.

Electoral Count Act - get that passed ASAP - Manchin does not stand in the way of that. The other big thing to me is gerrymandering. I think much of the rest, like limits on food vendors or even photo IDs - I think they’re distractions.
