The issue is perception and whose message is more prominently


promoted. A centrist dem who is against defund the police either doesn’t speak up loudly enough against the idea or their opinion is shuffled way down the page by the media because controversy doesn’t generate clicks. The media and social media influencers drive the narrative in the country, not facts. And that goes for both sides imo.

A rather boring dem like Spanburger in VA is lost in the dem woods compared to that media whore AOC.
