Unwittingly you only prove my point. While your whaddabout wasn't what I
had in mind, or is in anyway relevant to the topic of the thread, you just argued your perception acts as reality, because it is based in some reality. You have convinced yourself that a large portion or vast majority of GOPers that Trump "won" the 2020 election. No, what many GOPers believe is that the election was "rigged" to benefit Biden heavily, and that "rigging" came in many, many forms from changing/easing election rules, to state and local efforts to exacerbate the pain related to COVID, to MSM's constant pushing of "fake news" narratives, to Twitter & Co silencing the Hunter laptop story, and on and on.
Does it matter that the reality base is maybe somewhere in that same 8% range, if the perception is that the "majority" of the GOP is pushing a "baseless conspiracy theory" that the election was "stolen" and "Trump won the '20 election", if that is the perception out there? Thankfully, I think this perception is mostly reserved to the dishonest loony lefties, like so many found here, that will never vote GOP anyway. But when you see those perceptions registering so highly with independents and even Dems as shown in the OP, you would be wise to pay more attention. IMHO.
