No offense, but that might be the worst idea I've ever heard. You're


basically arguing for everyone to have a financial disincentive to buy coverage or seek regular wellness and preventative care because anything major that happens will be covered by the government. So we'd have an insanely expensive single payer system that doesn't provide basic care -- so people will only see doctors when they're seriously hurt or sick (and it will all be taxpayer funded). Sounds like the worst of both worlds to me.
