Right, but to draw on your analogy, I think old white men

can have an opinion on things like "what constitutes rape" when one side is taking an extreme position, such as "regret = rape". Because it's a ridiculous position, but more importantly because that position impacts others.

Saying that young girls, many of whom are uncomfortable changing or showering in front of other girls, must now do so in front of a biological male (some of whom are still attracted to girls), is a ridiculous position that impacts the rights of other people.

As I posted above, I do happen to know a male to female transgender fairly well. I know how he was with woman before his transition (he was constantly hitting on women to the point that some might have considered him to be a little creepy), and I know he's STILL attracted to women. I can say with a high degree of certainty that he should not be changing or showering with other women if they don't feel comfortable with him there. And I feel that way tenfold when it comes to high school or middle school girls.
