I am reminded of the forced busing battle in Henrico County back in the

70's....Judge Robert Meridge (sp?) was trying to bus West End kids into the poorer districts and send their kids into the wealthier districts. That situation became very heated...and it was not aided by the fact that the Judge's kids went to private school.
