Not sure what data you're referring to......

My uncle taught French literature at Duke for thirty years and spent a lot of time in France over the years with any number of colleagues and friends. His overwhelming impression was that almost everyone in France felt that upward mobility exists here, not there. This from a serious radical left leaning democrat. Are you making this stuff up on the fly?
