Whatever else one thinks of so-called "political correctness" (I prefer to think of it instead as just good manners), I think we can all agree that questioning the language we use and allow in reference to people-groups has contributed to exposing cultural biases and prejudices. No doubt the pendulum may have swung too far in some cases, but I would go so far as to say it has made us better people.

So to ridicule, insult and summarily dismiss someone who asks a question like Tuckahokie's is a mistake imho. Had we done that every time questions like his were asked in the past, we'd still be there.

I'm sure there must be some history between you two that caused a response like that, but it seems to me to be a fair question, even if the best answer is "no" or "it's not a question worth considering."
