ultimately. If I'm understanding the story correctly, this is just a portion of that subsidy spending to offer lower income folks relief for the deductibles and co-pays too, and paid from that same pot of money. I'm having a hard time believing this ruling will hold up in the long run, given it didn't for the much larger portion spent on premium subsidies.

As a wise man likes to say, you can't put the poop back in the donkey. And even though fundamentally your point is correct about Congress holding the purse, that poop ain't going back in IMO.
