Umm, two little problems with that post. First, as ESHoo pointed out, can

you cite another such piece of major legislation that was passed without some acceptance by the minority party. When we have another such scenario, don't be surprised if that minority party then "kicks and screams" and does everything it can to stop/fix it.

Second, you're under some delusion that, despite the minor changes made by that minority party's actions thus far, that this mess actually has worked.
