Yeah, I don't expect the economy to turn that it'll be a positive for Biden


Just that it would get worse. Given that while overall economy is doing pretty well now and Biden still get overall disapproval from the voters, I'm concerned that if the economy slipping just a little, might become too much of a headwind for Biden to overcome.

Trump's core supporters wouldn't care what Trump says. But it really comes down to several tens of thousands of voters in 8 states or so. Some of them might be leaning Trump now feeling that they are not "better off" now compared to 4 years ago. Hearing some of Trump's craziness might remind them of what it was actually like 4 years ago.
