Equating the extremes without identifying what the extreme ideas involve


seems a bit shallow. To me it is hard to imagine any extreme more of an existential threat than the willingness to dispense with the rule of law and the Constitution when it is politically expedient.
Then again, maybe I am missing the boat on caravans, vaccines, electric vehicles, the deep state, the enemies of the state, and transgender communists.
