Yes, it was. Not advisable if you ask me, but acceptable in the USA.
Mainly because Hillary had immediately conceded, never made any phone calls to state officials begging them to disavow election results just cuz she wanted them to, or threatened to hang the vp (Joe Biden) if he didn’t agree to select his personally preferred slates of electors on the (before ‘21) all but unknown ceremony in Congress to finalize the election, never called for suspension of the constitution to have herself installed like a dictator, any of that.
Trump gets his days in court, the best defense he can gather, full presumptions of innocence, all that, and I think it’s a very open question whether he’ll be convicted. But if he is, it won’t be for bitching and moaning about an election he lost. It will be for illegally attempting to overthrow an election he lost.
