I'm not dodging the issue, you are. When actual deaths go up by 0.9%

on average every year with a range of +3% to -2% over the last 70 (SEVENTY!!!) years, and then, just coincidentally with a pandemic, actual deaths increase by 21%... 7x the largest increase in the previous 70 years, that meets any reasonable definition of "excess". You have to be either stupid or delusional not to see that. Sorry if you find that insulting, but damn, this is blindingly obvious. Then furthermore, following the largest YoY increase in deaths in the last 70 years by a factor of 7x, the next year was not down, it was flat again against a hugely elevated numbers.

If you want to translate it into number of deaths instead of percentages, over the last 70 years, the average increase in number deaths compared to the prior year is 19K with a range of +80K to -51K. In 2020, deaths increased by 588K. In 2021, deaths were flat following a 588K increase in 2020 (7x the previous largest increase ever).

Look at the chart below. This is 70 years of annual changes in deaths. You don't think 2020 is a MASSIVE outlier, and might possibly be due to the fact that we had a pandemic?

Sorry, but you have to be really, really, really stupid, or really, really, really fucking delusional to not see that the spike in deaths in 2020 was massive and absolutely unprecedented outlier. That massive increase repeated again in 2021. Smart, non delusional people understand this. Hell, I think most really stupid people understand this.
