I think the only rust belt state that might turn is Ohio, but it's always
in play for the GOP.
He's not winning Illinois or Michigan or (not sure if you call this one Rust Belt) Wisconsin head up against Hillary; and the GOP always takes Indiana.
So, maybe PA though I think it unlikely.
But he doesn't have to. Ohio, Florida, Virginia and New Hampshire get the job done for him. Nevada, and it doesn't go into the House.
Shoot, if he takes a hands-off approach to legal recreational marijuana as a intra-state issue the Feds ought to lay off of, he might even take Colorado. Hillary finished a distant, distant second to Sanders here in the young-people dominated caucuses, in part because she's in the phase of her "evolution" on this issue, like so many others in the past near and dear to the lefty heart ( e.g. gay marriage), where she's currently strongly against it. We like making our own minds up about getting high, and we like the tax revenues it has generated.
