I think you're assuming this country is dumber than it is.

I'm thinking the opposite -- I was wondering if there was anyone who could unite a firm coalition of women, minorities, educated white people, and young Americans around a boring, uninspiring, and to many unlikeable candidate like HRC.

Enter the crass slob who has carved out a niche as the spokesman for Ugly America, racism, misogyny, insults, and all. It will only get worse. The dumbest and ugliest of us will eat it up and ask for more, but everyone else will be embarrassed and horrified and unite around the candidate who isn't a complete joke.

Sorry but there are not enough pissed off white people who are open to such an ugly message to win a national election even if they all vote for him (which they won't), and he will do more to ensure turnout among the silent majority is strong than Hillary could dream of. Put simply, this ain't the GOP primary.

I'm thinking he doesn't win a state that Romney failed to win and maybe loses more.
