That simply isn't true. They rely on legal precedent and law. What do you

mean that abortion was "customarily legal in such a way as to be culturally accepted?" That's meaningless. It has been "customarily legal in such a way as to be culturally accepted" since well before Roe, as well. Roe merely ruled that constitutionally the government has no province in the decision to terminate a pregnancy before a certain time frame. This mirrored several state laws passed at the time AND mirrored what Americans thought, and still think, about the decision to begin with.

Let me throw in the fact that Obergefell did something similar, but you apparently see no reason that the Court should overturn that decision. This despite the fact that Obergefell was decided far more recently. Your customary or traditional culture argument can't be made for Obergefell if you are not willing to make the same argument for Roe.

If you're against legal abortion, just say so. But don't try to justify it with pretzel logic.
