Any semi-auto can theoretically take a magazine of double digit rounds and

would be no less lethal. The AR15 is just like any one of those rifles STYLED especially like the M16. I'm not making an argument about whether civilians should be able to own a semi-auto rifle with a 30+ round capacity magazine ... a discussion for a different thread ... I AM saying the AWB is [theoretically] pointless other than - again - the extent to which scary looking guns appeal to crazy people.
