From what I hear, they were oblivious to the infrastructure Johnson had in

place to GOTV for him as Senator and assumed the fact that Trump had no ground game and the polls were favorable meant game over.

Hillary's Democratic turnout in Wisconsin was abysmal and Trump got roughly the same number of votes that Romney got in 2012 ... in large part due to traditional Republicans showing up to vote for Johnson and pulling the lever for Trump too. Of course, the narrative we will hear is all this white working class "Trump Democrats" nonsense but the fact is the Dems in places like Milwaukee and western Wiscy just didn't bother and the Repubs got their normal voters out by virtue of a strong senatorial candidate funded by none other than working class heroes the Koch Brothers.

But yeah, major fail by the Clinton campaign. A few rallies there and you have to think the necessary 30K to win the state show up. Probably one in Milwaukee alone could have done it. Or a better candidate -- Obama/Biden would have crushed Wisconsin for a third time.
