Ok. My emphasis is a bit different, but its subjective.

First, I'm not prepared to close my mind to any candidate at this point, understanding that if I vote for either major party candidate, I'm almost definitely voting for the lesser evil.

I have the opposite viewpoint about uncertainty. I'd prefer the devil I know, all things considered. Maybe that's from an adult lifetime working in the financial markets. The financial markets abhor uncertainty above all. No matter how bad the news is, if the market believes it can see it, it can get the pain over with, and it starts anew from there. But when uncertainty rules, that's when you tend to see wild swings, and the kind of bear market collapse we saw in 2008 to March 09 (or in swaths of the credit markets last year into January of this year).

So if I had to vote for Hill or Trump today, I think I'd hold my nose and vote for Hill. But in the end, especially if NY remains firmly blue in November, 3rd party might be my best choice. And in a year like this one, I think I need to keep an open mind until I see the head to head really get underway.
