any attempts to pretend so heading to the general will surely be disingenuous. Those that think she will be Bill 2.0 and we'll simply return to the glory days of the 90's are deluding themselves IMO. She was always left of Bill and won't have a dotcom bubble, a contract with America, and a peace dividend to benefit from. And the Dem party and our post 9/11 world is very different than what Bill worked with in the 90's.

Trump is not that known quantity so as such, is still in the TBD category for me. Is he the blustering nutjob we've seen in the primaries or "New York values" liberal he was in the past, and had to be to survive and succeed in NYC I would assume. I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I am pretty firmly pro-choice, even though I can understand and respect the pro-life position. While I don't favor it, I am resigned to the fact that we will likely end up with single payer one day as the only remaining realistic option. I like the idea of a candidate that understands the private sector and what it means to run a business, that what counts is actually getting something done, and realizes Govco does not create jobs but rather should only focus on protecting us and getting the F out of the way of the economy as much as possible. I believe he would make efforts to reduce the roll, size, and impact of Gov't, and certainly at the very least not expand it like Hillary would do. Therefore, it is not Trump's left leaning past that I find vile and disgusting, but rather his persona and egomania. And my biggest concerns with him is going off half-cocked because someone went after him first, and my belief that he honestly hasn't given a ton of thought to positions and policies to this point. Between now and the general, he could assuage those fears of mine. Will he? I still highly doubt it because I don't know that his ego will allow it. Thus 3rd party is the most likely outcome for me, but that's probably up to The Donald to determine.

Hillary's only positives for me is that she is a known entity, and as such will be more predictable. I also think she's probably right of Obama both fiscally and from a foreign policy standpoint, so that's a good thing. But the rest of her "vile and disgusting" aspects disqualify her from being able to earn my vote. So if she wins, she'll have to do it without my help.
