Is a very young country with access to the internet. How long can the old guard hold on? After the very visible Israeli strike, the Iranian government really had to retaliate in my opinion. They had to show strength.

I agree that Netanyahu may have been strengthened here. But long term, the world (and I admit I am among them) are tiring of Israel’s policy of over retaliation* combined with continued land grabs. It is essentially an apartheid state.

*I understand retaliation against Hamas, but not the ratio of civilian deaths and deliberate starvation tactics.
