Miles before they get there “being a puppet of Tehran?” How is ensuring that Israel essentially suffers no consequences for destroying the senior Iranian leadership of proxies in the region being a “puppet of Iran”? Because, what, you’re pining for full on mideast war?

Just saying “Biden’s a puppet” over and over when he’s acting to ensure Iran looks impotent doesn’t make it true, no matter how badly you want it to be. What we got out of this was a live fire drill, where Iran got to see just exactly how outmatched it would be in a direct war. Unless we were to follow the loopy strategy of escalating just because it’s fun, we got a live fire drill with the UK and Israel proving that Iran can’t penetrate those combined defenses, even throwing hundreds of missiles and drones.

Israel won the top half of the inning with a successful attack killing multiple senior Iranian commanders. It then won the second half by throwing a shutout. What’s the problem?
