Huh? No other country in the world is attacked so often and then told

to exercise restraint in their response than Israel. What would the US do if Cuba sent 200 missiles and drones at us (regardless of how many were intercepted)? I think the answer depends on who is President, but the universally true part is that it would not be nothing.

Not only that, but strategic ambiguity is a huge advantage that Biden has effectively stripped from Israel. Israel's response - if they respond - should be at their option and if they decide to do it, at a time, place and method of their choosing.

That being said, I do think that Iran telegraphed a desire not to escalate the conflict in how they retaliated. Hopefully that message was received in Jerusalem. Nobody wants a full scale regional war. But if one breaks out, make no mistake who is at fault: Iran's proxy Hamas attacked Israel in October, and Iran attacked Israel from their own territory yesterday.
