I kid, I kid. I know that wasn't your point, but if this was such a "whatever", couldn't it be argued the "culture war" pushing for the ban would also be a "whatever"?
It might also be worth noting that while it may not make a big difference in Berkeley, these are bans on all Nat Gas piping in new construction which will certainly make a difference in heating in other areas of CA, not to mention upstate NY. Might even cost lives in a power outage. It's also worth noting it puts further demand on the electrical grid, at a time when we're already doing that with EV mandates. And finally that it's found that these bans will have a negligible effect if any on Climate Change.
So what's the reasoning for supporting these "culture wars" on Nat Gas again? Or should we just tell those warriors "whatever"?
