What happened is that Title 42 was the reason for


Lower immigration during Trump’s latter years. The Biden administration tried to continue it but the courts said pandemic over so emergency over and back to our existing laws.
Stay in Mexico was doing nothing but tie up court dockets and piss Mexico off and create humanitarian problems
