So Biden has had it as a tool for a few years. And whereas Trump only enacted it for his last 10 months....it doesn't explain Trumps first first few years, and how immediately the crossings picked up as soon as Biden entered the picture (with 42 still in place). I have linked a copy of a graphic included with the article. You'll notice, Trump's worst year (with no Title 42 in place) was still less than a half of Biden's first year (with Title 42 still being enacted). When you compare Trump's final year with Title 42 and Biden's first year with it....the numbers are a staggering 400% increase. A year later, it was almost a 600% increase.

Not a good picture at all.

I fully agree with your assessment that Congress has to do something, a can they have kicked down the road for 30 years now....but that can has been equal for all presidents.
