And yes, the GOP sees how the Dems utter failure at the border is hurting them badly at the polls. Why on Earth should they bend over backwards and compromise to help Biden out of the mess he created? And let's not act like it would be any different if the roles were reversed and Dems were being told to compromise on a GOP friendly solution on abortion before the election.

The House passed a bill saying how they would address the issue. It's fine for the Dems to say they won't support that, but until they offer up an acceptable counter offer, it's they who are just whining and not being "Patriots".
