even know what that compromise would be, that the left only wants to blame the right for not compromising on. Salazar's Dignity Act in the House is also compromise, and at least we know the details in that one, but that too hasn't passed either, and I strongly doubt those calling for compromise would do so if something along those lines is what ultimately comes out of the Senate.

I'm certainly not criticizing your cynicism because I join you there. Other than agreeing to each others' over spending, it seems both parties are more interested in keeping issues alive to drive donations and voters to the polls than in governing and solving anything. If Dems truly cared about border security and addressing the abuse of the asylum system, when they had both houses and the WH, they could've easily gotten a handful of Sens to get an actual "compromise" solution through and on Biden's desk, and didn't need a single vote in the House. They're not, they're just interested in now blaming the GOP for why it's not getting done.
