This isn’t a clash between two “victim” groups. Israel’s a bit too white to be seen that way on these campuses. You wonder how much they know about Jewish history period, but they certainly don’t know about the Balfour Declaration, the U.N. partition, and who it was that absolutely ensure 2 states couldn’t emerge at that time.

The points in my view are identity group emphasis and ensuing broad, sweeping generalizations. Which are based on ignorance to begin with, and then these university presidents laid claim to an emphasis on free speech of any kind which simply does not exist. They may not have intended it to be “rules for thee, not for me”, but ostensibly, they said “you Jews have too much blood in your hands to warrant protection from the kind of speech we protect, say, gay people from”.

Bad enough you’re not being consistent, but your stereotyping of oppressed vs oppressor is more than a bit suspect (“you” here being the U presidents, not RML or any other poster).
