Yes. The point I was making above. Mental health has become a hollow

catch phrase. Yes, mental health is a real issue and a cause of gun violence in this country. So what do we do about it? That's where they all stop, and there are only a handful of reasonable courses of action one could draw from to finish the thought.

We have several examples where authorities were WARNED about shooters, yet could do nothing. Let's get real red flag laws in place. While we're at it, let's take weapons away from people under restraining orders.

Put those 2 on the ballot and 90% of voters would agree - the benefits are obvious, the cost very low in comparison (LA would disagree).

But many of today's "leaders" refuse to move beyond the bumper sticker slogan. They're weak and they're scared.
