Biden got a couple of key bipartisan bills in the first 2 years

Infrastructure and CHIPS were significant policy wins that got GOP support. He's done more on that front than Obama. But I do see your point on the history.

I agree that most people aren't paying attention yet, particularly with Israel dominating the headlines. However, the best thing the Democrats in the House could do for Biden's reelection is allow the Republicans to go crazy under a new Speaker. Shutdown the government for weeks, impeach him, and generate lots of headlines. That would probably boost Biden's approval rating by 5 points and let him act like the adult in the room. I'm also not sure McCarthy was going to be able to go to the well twice on using D votes to keep the government open, so it may not matter much who the Speaker is going forward if there's no compromise coming.
