I honestly can't think of a single poster here that truly believes the things you list, and yet you hear that claim of "fact" here regularly (so I'm not trying to single you out for that).

But I guess that's kind of the point of the OP. So much time is spent here trying to "get" other posters (yes, I'm far from blameless in that), that it's hard to have any meaningful discussion, let alone change anyone's opinion. Which is also part of the problem, it's not facts people care about, but that your opinion is the same as theirs. And if not, you go on the "get" list.

It's certainly not impossible, and you're one of a handful of posters I can actually still have a discussion with (and look for your posts, with particular interest in your posts related to medicine), but the moment someone needs to "get" someone for their opinion, it's not exactly conducive to meaningful discussion, and will usually just get the same returned to them.
