Sports boards can be absolutely brutal.


Similar reasons - we love the hoos (Hoos hoops and the Mets - they imprinted on me like a chick to its mom. The Mets when I was a 7 yr old on LI in 1969, and the Hoos when we beat UNC in Chapel Hill in OT in my first year in ‘81 and the school exploded in a spontaneous party, end to end). We have strong opinions about things which sometimes feel so factual that we don’t understand disagreement. Those who disagree are “lying”!
