LOL! I'm very thankful for my luck, even though some of those things you

mention have certainly touched me. I have much to be thankful for, and it doesn't take much to see those that haven't been as lucky.

And while I've had plenty of success, my brother, hoo was born on the same base as I, has had much more success in terms of high earnings. As have many here I'm sure. I recognize that is due to his choices, sacrifices (needed to climb the corporate ladder he did), and risks taken. I made different ones, don't regret them, would make the same again, and wouldn't give a second's thought to trading places with him. I don't envy his success, try to belittle it by claiming he was "born on third" to try and make myself feel better, or more to Boca's point, criticize the much bigger "fair share" he's paid towards Medicare than I. I thank him, Boca, and many others for doing that.
