How do you justify the term “apartheid” as it applies to Israel?

Apartheid is systemic and institutionalized racial discrimination. Over 2 million Arabs peacefully reside in Israel and are represented in the Knesset, own businesses, teach on all levels of acadamia, serve in the military and are actively involved in Israeli cultural life. A justice on Israel’s Supreme Court is Arab. Israel is a democracy and has no laws that discriminate or classify by ethnicity.

By contrast, no such freedom or authority is afforded those living in Gaza.

Rules in place to maintain security and existence in an area geographically located next to a population run by a government vowed to destroy Israel is often portrayed as Israel being an “apartheid state”.
