I am totally down with concerns that protestors against Israel are buried

By some in loud, kneejerk accusations of antisemitism. As Chuck says below, calls for divestment from Israel are not antisemitism. That’s legit political protest. Opposition to it is as well.

My problem with Chuck’s post below is that he jumped all over that point about legit protest without any mention of the rest of the ADL’s assessment, which are not in the eyes of beholders. But we desperately need to stop boiling everything down to its simplist terms.

People opposing Israeli actions, and its decades of apartheid-like policies, are not antisemitic. Even if you hate my opinion about similarities to apartheid, I’m not being antisemitic by asserting it. But then, you have to be able to protest against my view, without being physically attacked or threatened over it.

If you really look at it, this is a both sides problem. Both sides oversimplify all of this.
