You make a whole lot of sense in this thread. You are speaking my language. Cats and dogs align. There are some certain historical nuances that do make the Ukraine/Russia gig a bit murky. But...you cannot allow Russian encroachment, especially under facking Putin. He is a gangster and a psychopath.

I do believe that it would be best if we could be aligned and partnered with Russia. But so long as the KGB is still running "free" Russia, alas, it's not in the cards.

I do not understand the position of those that are saying let them have Ukraine. I understand trying not to throw money at every problem. But Russia must be put in the corner. And if we are dealing in gold and treasure to do it, without our own blood, WTF is the problem?

Again, there are some historical nuances and great history between Ukraine and Russia. And some dirty actors in Ukraine, beyond a doubt. But...I'm taking this action if I'm the president and doubling down on my bet on Ukraine. Fuck Putin.
