Do you think we're alone in this effort?
In terms of proportionate support (as a percentage GDP), Germany and the UK are at our level if not higher. All of the Nordics and many Eastern Europeans are undoubtedly higher (IIRC). Our number is very large, because we are a very large nation with a lot of money.
And helping Ukraine inflict pain will likely help with Russia's populace at some point as well.
Such a strange line of thought. Being powerful and wealthy in a stable world economy is a good thing for our nation. Not sure why y'all aren't interested any longer. Ronald Reagan is turning in his grave about now. You guys want to capitulate to a former KGB guy trying to reassemble the USSR? It costs us dollars, not lives (it costs Russia lives). And what would that signal to China or other bad actors? Secure and prosperous - that's how I like things. How about you?
