Ok, let's play the game. Is there a pain we can inflict that will make
Putin back down? What would that look like given the what we know of the man's demeanor? Ukraine is not a NATO member so I won't say the same. Where is the legal justification for fighting this proxy war? Don't get wrong, I would be all for a coalition of governments to stand up to Russia via a military threat but Putin is no fool. He knows the west has no interest in a wider conflict. So where does this all end? Do you want to give Ukraine long range capabilities? Russia is already lobbing hypersonic missles at cities and population areas. When will it ever be enough. In these modern times, calling a bluff is a very dangerous game. Let's not be naive, this is all up to Putin. He has hoodwinked the world and I don't see the means to stop him short of fast tracking Ukraine into NATO. Then, let the bluff begin
