This moment in the sun, but I can infer her politics as a Bama repub, much of which I’m sure I oppose. No denying her accomplishments in becoming a U.S. senator at her age though. I think she’s a neophyte in way over her head, who placed herself completely in the hands of her “handlers” over many hours of prep time, I’m sure. I don’t think the words or delivery were really hers. I just can’t see how she’d have risen so quickly in politics if they were.

And it might be a political blow from which she never really recovers. She’s gone from rising superstar to butt of the nation’s jokes in a flash. Is this because Trump and his forces have so completely taken over the party? Are they the geniuses who choreographed it? We’ve seen what it’s candidate quality does in elections, but maybe we’re about to see just how badly Trumpistan can fuck up a campaign season. Room for hope on that, I think.
