I’ll tell you what’s dumb: Thinking that SCOTUS took the case to…

…adjudicate TRUMP’S argument. That’s nonsense.

SCOTUS is evaluating Chutkan’s idiotic ruling (backed by the appeals court) that president’s have ZERO immunity, which is obvious nonsense. Her decision is why the case is at SCOTUS, not Trump.

They are going to overturn her decision and set parameters on which actions taken by a president are immune from prosecution and then send the case back to her to adjudicate which of the actions Trump is charged with fall inside and outside that scope.

By the way, for those whining about how long SCOTUS is taking, Chutkan took two months to issue her own opinion on immunity as just a single judge back in Oct-Dec of last year. Blame her if you have the sadz.
