Democracy. Honestly, it reminds me of a personal foible of mine. I’m often not very patient, especially if I’m anticipating something from another person that’ll piss me off. I sometimes imagine the scenario pissing me off, and am already pissed going in as a result, when the other person hasn’t done anything yet. I turn an argument into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

That’s all you’re doing. You have no crystal ball. You don’t know what Trump really intends, and more importantly, what he’ll get away with. And that’s assuming he even wins - the most generous odds imo are 60%. We have at least a 40% chance of never seeing trump 2.0, and on top of that, the odds are well below 100% that a trump 2.0 will look as bad as you think.

You’re advocating dems making it all 100% odds of an end to democracy by doing the lawless things (you’d scream about if your political opposites did them) pre-emptively, if the SC allows it. So, we’ll end democracy in a kinder, gentler way than Trumpistan would.

Wax, whenever you’re advocating doing exactly the things you’d scream about if “they” did it, you’re doing nothing more than joining “them”. How about we leave that to Trumpistan?
